    We are looking for well-rounded Carpenter to work full time on variety of projects, responsible for supporting the site supervision team to maintain the progress of both Multigroup and sub-trades scopes by completing any required carpentry and labour tasks for the projects. Our site locations are spread across the Lower Mainland area so site locations vary.

    Successful candidates will be able to work independently. Taking ownership of your work and projects is important. Relevant experience in commercial construction and tenant improvements an asset.

     

     

    Key Responsibilities:

     

    • Perform all on-site carpentry tasks, such as backing, blocking formwork, and framing
    • Build panels, footings, retaining walls and stairs.
    • Read and interpret blueprints
    • Finish Carpentry & Door Installations
    • Site Prep
    • Wood Framing and Steel Stud Framing
    • Light/Minor Demolition
    • Train and mentor apprentices and labourers. Supervise small labour crews as assigned.
    • Good knowledge of general construction duties - pump set up, use of tools, weather protection, etc.
    • General construction maintenance
    • A Valid Drivers License and clean drivers abstract
    • All other duties assigned by Project Managers/Site Superintendents
    • Able to work with minimal supervisors and is a self-starter
    • Able to communicate effectively with Sub-trades

    Qualifications 

    • Physically capable of meeting the job demands, including working on your feet for 8 hours or more, lifting objects weighing up to 50lbs, and carrying out physical tasks over extended periods
    • Drivers License and clean drivers abstract, as company vehicle will be provided
    • Red Seal or Apprentice L3/L4
    • Experience with Procore / Builder Trend
    • Microsoft Outlook
    • WHMIS

    PAINTERS

    Positions for experienced and professional painters to work all over Greater Vancouver area
    Job Requirements: No formal education required.
    Experience: 1-2 years of work experience in commercial and residential projects

     

    Key Responsibilities:

     

    • Apply & mix paints, stain, varnish, and enamel on commercial & residential buildings
    • Provide accurate estimates of material and equipment required
    • Prepare painting surface area by smoothing and filling cracks
    • Using various painting equipments such as spray gun, brusher, rollers or other equipment to paint the surface area
    • Assemble and erect scaffoldings and ensure all safety measures are being met at the work site.

    Qualifications

     

    • Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Physically demanding, Ability to distinguish between colours, Team player, Flexibility, Client focus Coating/Applications

    GENERAL LABORERS

    As a Construction Labourer you will be responsible for completing a variety of construction labour tasks as well as assisting Carpenters and Skilled Labourers. You will maintain a clean and safe worksite by being proactive and independent. You will also be trained in the use of hand and power tools.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Clean the site by removing debris and sorting materials and recyclables appropriately 
    • Load and unload materials to and from delivery trucks and equipment 
    • Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for tradespeople and skilled labourers 
    • Sites clean up and organizing site area 
    • Hand dig trenches, holes, pits, ditches, and clean-cut footings 
    • Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and various manual duties.
    • Move materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt and dirt.
    • Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations to the supervisor.
    • Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis.
    • Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment as needed.
