Types of Parquet
There are different types of flooring to choose from.
Solid wood flooring
It is made entirely of wood and the parquet flooring can be of different sizes - width, thickness and length - from very small to one meter.
As its name implies, the three-layer parquet consists of 3 layers - one that we see - is usually lacquered and lacquered, while the other 2 layers are usually made of plywood
This is an artificial parquet, imitating wood. Made of pressed paper, cardboard and wood waste, covered with laminate on top. The laminate has types that can be installed in wet rooms, even in a bathroom.
Whether a parquet is installed is well known for the creaking or rather the lack of one! It is extremely important that the flooring is carefully placed by professionals on a flat and smooth base - this is a prerequisite for good installation and satisfied customers.
Natural and 3-layer parquets can be glued with special floor adhesives during installation, and a special lining with different thickness and density is applied to the laminate.
After the installation of the parquet floorboards and moldings are installed. The sills are made of solid wood, MDF or PVC. Solid wood is preferred for solid and 3-layer parquet, MDF is applied to all three models, and PVC sills are used for laminate.
Finishing and transitional strips are installed when moving from one floor to another, for example from parquet to tile.
The parquet refinishing is done with a shaft or disk machine and aims to smooth the surface by taking away some of the surface layer of the parquet that has been damaged. It is made for the renovation of outdated parquet flooring or the massive parquet flooring, and it can even out and smooth the difference in the parquet flooring so as to achieve a perfect result.
